R and R Campgrounds
Activities abound at R and R Campgrounds. We have a horseshoe court, a volley ball area and a children's playground which includes a small rock wall and swing set. We rent Tubes and kayaks. We have a limited number of life vests which we offer free of charge, available on a first come first served basis.
There are 2 natural spring creeks along with the nearby Guadalupe River to enjoy and explore. We are approximately 2 miles upstram from Canyon Lake. If you are an angler (white Bass run into the cove in early Spring and a 78lb catfish was caught in the cove), swimmer, boater, floater, hiker, or photographer (rarely seen Painted Buntings nest in the area) you will find our area is perfect for your activities. For the more laid back approach the trickling water sounds of the water ways surrounding our 16 rustic acres will sooth your inner self.
Our cabins come with free Cable TV, and we offer free WIFI througout the majority of our campground.
note: in some areas of the campgrounds the WIFI reception is spotty.
We also have a fully-plumbed Bathhouse with showers, and an On-site Laundromat.
Camping Supplies
A few basic camp supplies are available on-site, just to make your stay a little more convenient. These supplies include, but are not limited to: Firewood, Ice, WaterHoses, and RV Sewer Hoses. As a further service for our guests we have kayaks and tubes available to rent.

Area Attractions
Located on a unique bend where the confluence of three water ways, the Guadalupe River, Rebecca Creek and Schultz Creek.
Our secluded patch of river is perfect for fishing, boating and swimming. There are other activities and amenities we offer at the park, plus there is even more to do in the surrounding area.

10 minutes Our favorite local Mexican Restaurant is Sandra’s Cantina & Grill.
10 minutes Rebecca Creek Country Club, a public facility, is a short drive away. They offer golfing, Swimming, Free Pool and have an attached Bar and Restaurant.
10 minutes Canyon Lake is a popular destination that fits nearly everyone's idea of vacation destination, it is a great lake for sailing and is also known as the deepest lake in Texas. The surrounding park area includes Madrone Trail a great mountain biking trail which is open to walkers.
10 minutes Fischer Texas is just 10 minutes south of us, the old Post Office/General Store is worth the drive. While there, take a look at Fischer Hall and the 9-pin bowling alley.
15 minutes we are also less than 10 miles away from Canyon Dam and Canyon City, a popular destination for tubing on the lower Guadalupe. The flood of 2002 formed a huge chasm that has been christened Canyon Gorge. Tours are available check for times.

20 minutes The quaint, artsy town of Wimberley is but a short drive.
While in the Wimberley area visit Jacobs Well Natural Area which. Jacobs Well is a perpetual artesian spring that eroded a two mile thick layer of limestone and formed a pool that was, for many years, used as a swimming hole.
25 minutes the historic Gruene Dance Hall, is the oldest operating Dancehall in Texas, with great music 365 days a year.
25 minutes 'River Road' in Comal County is known for its tubing and rafting, the water is provided by the outflow of Canyon Dam. Many outfitters are present along the banks of the Guadalupe River. Call johnny or judy at Bezdeck's, one of our old friends for a great time.
25 minutes New Braunfels is home to Schlitterbahn Water Park, Wurstfest and more.
50 minutes Boerne Texas is known as a shopper’s paradise and on the outskirts of the city you will find “Cave Without a Name". The tours are delightful and educational; they also have concerts in the Cave, which is something to experience.
60 minutes R and R Campgrounds is less than an hour’s drive from beautiful San Antonio, home to the River Walk, The Alamo, museums, the SA Zoo and many more attractions including Sea World.
We are at the hub of State Parks and also many unique geological sites.
A Few FAQs
How close are you to the water?
Electric and Primitive Tent Camping are right along Rebecca and Schultz creek. Because the 3 bodies of water meet next to our property, we have placed all cabins and RVs just above the flood plane. The creeks are a football field length's downhill from the Cabins and RVs. Guadalupe River Access is 1 block away, next to Public Boat Ramp 11.
Is my reservation deposit refundable?
Your deposit is fully refundable, provided your cancelation is 1 or more weeks prior to your arrival date.
What comes with a Cabin?
Though furniture and sleeping space may vary from cabin to cabin, each cabin is fully furnished. Each cabin comes with Dishes, Silverware, Pots and Pans. We provide pillows, 1 or 2 kitchen towels, dish soap, hand soap, 1 bath mat(per bathroom), and Toilet Paper. We do not supply bath towels blankets, sheets and pillow cases.
Do you rent Cabins or RVs monthly?
Typically, No. We have great Weekly rates on both Cabins and RVs. During the winter-season, we may find accomodations for a monthly rate, but on a case-by-case basis only.
Do you have shuttle service?
No, we do not have shuttle service. However the Guadalupe Canoe Livery, just over 5 miles away, does. If you have a group of 10 or more, they will even pick you up and drop you off at this campground. Otherwise, we are only 10 miles from Canyon City, a great local tubing destination on the lower Guadalupe.
